At a glance
Describe the character, expression, clothing, setting, composition and illustration style. Start with a clear single scene, then refine one visual choice at a time. Use a supported reference picture when you want to continue a specific character image.
Build a character brief
Choose distinctive visual features such as hair, clothing, expression and pose. Describe an adult character and a clear activity, then place them in a setting. Separating these choices makes the prompt easier to revise than a list of style adjectives.
Give the scene a composition
A waist-up portrait, a close-up face and a wide landscape tell different stories. Name the framing you need and choose a matching aspect ratio. Start with one subject when testing a new direction, then add complexity after the basic image works.
Refine without expecting automatic memory
The same text can produce a different face or costume on the next generation. For closer continuity, select GPT Image and attach the previous image as a reference. Inspect anatomy, clothing, props and small details after every revision.
Use the concept in a larger workflow
Save the original image and prompt, then crop or combine the result in a design tool when building a cover, mood board or character sheet. This workflow creates individual images; it does not promise a dedicated character-training or multi-panel layout feature.
A prompt to start with
An adult explorer with short silver hair and a dark travel coat in an old observatory, expressive anime illustration, waist-up composition, warm light from a star map, detailed background, no text.
