At a glance
A useful image prompt names the subject, action, setting, composition, lighting and visual style. Start with the first three, add the most important visual choices, and change one element at a time.
Build a scene with six elements
Name the subject, what it is doing, where it is, how it is framed, where the light comes from and what style you want. You do not need every detail in every prompt. Choose the details that make your intended picture distinct.
Example: An adult traveller studying a map in a bookshop after the rain, half-length side view, warm window light, detailed editorial illustration.
Replace vague adjectives with visible decisions
Instead of a beautiful premium cafe, describe a dark wooden counter, frosted glass, warm side lighting and an uncluttered wall. These details make it easier to judge whether the image follows your idea. Describe a subject before relying on words such as cinematic or professional.
Change one variable at a time
Keep the subject and framing, then change the lighting. Once the direction works, adjust the style or setting. Save the original prompt with the image so that you can compare versions rather than relying on memory. Repeating a prompt can still produce a different composition.
Describe what to leave out
Use the unwanted-content field for requests such as no lettering or no watermark. These instructions become part of the image request; they are not a guarantee that every model will obey. Inspect small text, edges and hands before using an output.
Reuse a prompt or continue from an image
Reusing a prompt starts a new image from text. To continue a specific composition, choose a model with reference-image support and attach the picture. Saved history is not automatically sent as visual context.
